On November 21, 2016, Daegu Weedahm Oriental Hospital launched in Namsan-dong, Jung-gu, Daegu. It is the 6th branch after Busan, Kia, Daejeon, Jeonju and Bupyeong.
On August 2, 2016, the hospital signed the MOU with Yonsei University Wonju College of Medicine for promotion ‘integrated medical center for central districts’.
On July 31, 2016, Dr. Seohyeong Choi was elected unanimously as the first chairman for the Society of Phlegm Mass Syndrome at the inaugural assembly.
On June 15, 2016, the hospital signed the MOU for exchange and cooperation for integrated medicine-based R&D and establishment and operation of Chungju Future Integrated Medical Center.
On May 21, 2016, the publication party for Dr. Choi’s publication Babtong Daeballan in China took place in Wangfujing Bookstore in Beijing.
On January 19, 2016, the Bupyeong branch launched in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon.
On November 4, 2015, the separately installed herbal dispensary relocated and expanded under the name ‘Weedahm Herbsol’ to Daechi Intersection. All herbal decoction facility at Weedahm Herbsol use the low-temperature extraction system that extracts the unique ingredients from the herbs. It is an automated cleaning system of the highest safety, inspecting for any impurities in the medicine and directly connecting the medicine to the packaging step.
On September 28, 2015, Dr. Seohyeong Choi gave a lecture on gastrointestinal phlegm-stasis disorder at China-Japan Friendship Hospital in Beijing, the home of oriental medicine.
On February 20, 2013. the 4th branch Daejeon Weedahm Oriental Clinic opened in Bongmyeong-dong, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon. The Daejeon branch also has the iris, joint, and spine clinic on top of the gastrointestinal and digestive system clinic.
In Mach 2012, Gunsan Weedahm Oriental Clinic opened in Susong-dong, Gunsan-si, Jeollabuk-do.
On July 1, 2011, a health functional food manufacturer Weedahm Co., Ltd. was founded.
Dr. Choi published Babtong Daeballan, a book identifying the cause of various obstinate diseases - gastrointestinal phlegm-stasis disorder – and talking about the doctor’s 40 years of clinical experience from treating over 100,000 patients with obstinate gastrointestinal diseases.
The internal medicine department was created inside the hospital to offer personalized integrated treatment for patients.
On October 2011, the first Busan branch opened in Bujeon-dong, Busanjin-gu, Busan.
The CI changed to Weedahm Oriental Hospital, which has a dual meaning of the new gastrointestinal disorder stiffening the gastrointestinal muscularis layer, ‘phlegm toxins’, and the ‘story of stomach’ of those suffering from gastrointestinal diseases. This change strongly conveys the hospital’s will to become the best stomach and intestines-specialized oriental hospital and to eradicate the frequently occurring gastrointestinal diseases.
The hospital signed an agreement with Chungju City to establish the Future Integrated Medical Center.
The hospital was promoted from a clinic to a hospital by benchmarking overseas cases for establishment of the integrated medical center (Germany, Austria, Thailand), expanding scientific treatment and advanced medical equipment, increasing the number of wards, and joining Hana Oriental Clinic and Hana Clinic in Daechi-dong to create an integrated medical hospital.
Weedahm Oriental Hospital was featured in various TV shows for discovering the cause of chronic gastrointestinal diseases.
In April 2006, the hospital expanded its size and relocated to Daechi-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
The hospital developed Korea’s first integrated medical system with the joint treatment of oriental medicine, western medicine, and alternative medicine.
Head doctor Seohyeong Choi was recognized as Shinzisikin as the first physician to do so for leading scientification of obstinate gastrointestinal diseases.
The hospital participated in the Ministry of Health and Welfare’s research project on chronic diseases and provided the clinical treatment model from the integrated medicine aspect for 84 frequently found diseases in Korea.
Dr. Choi published a book Discovery and treatment of new gastrointestinal disorder stiffening the organs: Phlegm Toxins.
On April 1, 1998, Hana Medical Foundation was established.
Head doctor Seohyeong Choi received a citation from the Minister of Health and Welfare for using both oriental and western medicine to discover the gastrointestinal phlegm-stasis disorder – stiffening of the stomach and intestines.
On December 5, 1992, the Korea’s first east-west medical clinic opened in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Hana Oriental Clinic and Hana Clinic. The clinics aimed to be the first oriental hospital specializing in gastrointestinal diseases in the industry.
